The lovely details of a 1939 Daimler Light Straight Eight Sport Saloon by Vanden Plas.

Its 4-litre engine had 95 bhp, which was pretty good performance in these times, and the car could reach more than 90 mph (145 km/h). Daimlers were expensive and sophisticated vehicles, even the British Royal Family used many Daimlers for decades. It’s interesting that the body had wooden frame, and the engine was made with non-detachable cylinder head.
